The Friends of Yuen Lui is pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Photo Competition & Exhibition. This year’s competition is open to all Seattle-area high school photographers in grades 9-12. The subject matter is open to anything, so please feel free to enter up to 4 images of your favorite work in black and white or color. Selected entries will be printed, framed and exhibited at Vermillion Gallery on Sunday, November 6, 2011. The entry fee is $25. Photography sales from the exhibition will be donated to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

HOW TO ENTER
- Pay the $25 entry fee through PayPal
- Complete this entry form
- Burn up to FOUR images on a CD, and include a PDF file of your name, grade, artist statement, and image titles.
- DEADLINE: Friday, October 21, 2011 at 10:00am. Turn in the CD to your school’s office (there will be an envelope there specifically for this competition). Please remember to label your CD with your name. Entries will be picked up from your school that morning.
ENTRY DETAILS
- Entries accepted via CD only
- May enter up to four images
- Images may be in black and white or color
- Full resolution files (11×14 at 300 dpi; file
type Jpg; sRGB profile) - PDF file that includes your name, school, grade, image titles and artist statement
NOTIFICATION
The 25 selected photographers will be notified by e-mail the week of October 24, 2011.
EXHIBITION
Selected photos will be on exhibit and for sale at Vermillion on Sunday, November 6, 2011 from 4-8 PM. Proceeds from the entry fees and photography sales will benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Be sure to invite your friends and family.
